Retired and Senior Volunteer Program

RSVP is a program geared for retired seniors 55 years of age and older in the Anchorage and Mat-Su area. RSVP helps transform the talents, energy, wisdom, and experiences of seniors into meaningful and lasting contributions to the community. RSVP volunteers enrich their own lives through this program as well as the lives of others. They discover that when they give, they gain a lot too. Studies show seniors who volunteer live longer, healthier and more fulfilling lives. RSVP is committed to providing older Americans with a variety of opportunities to participate more fully in their community.

RSVP seniors are involved in many projects such as; the Dimond transit bus station snack shop, Corks 4 Kids fundraiser, and project warm up which provides hand knitted hats, gloves, scarfs, and blankets  to the community. These volunteer seniors are on the go year round providing assistance to the community in which we all live.
